The Trip. Continued.

We'll start with Springfield ~ Bass Pro Shop.
There aren't many pictures of our trip to the fabulous Bass Pro Shop, because, honestly, once you've seen one stuffed, dead animal, you've pretty much seen all there is to see. So, unless you're looking to redecorate your home or your body with the beautiful print that is camouflage, the whole thing is pretty anti-climatic at best. I've been there before. Twice, actually, before this trip. But, I was revved up to see Braiden's reaction to all the animals and waterfalls. Turns out, he feels pretty much the same way his momma does. Poor Brian. Poor Dad. Poor Uncle J. I know they had such high hopes for yet another little hunter in the family. The child does shoot his gun at stuffed, dead animals hanging on the wall (his gun being his middle finger extended into the air, followed by the sweetest little voice saying, "Taow").
Brian thought it would be a good idea to show him the large aquarium stationed in one of the walls near the shoe section. I thought, great...I'll be back in a second to snap some pictures! Brian and Braiden checked out the pretty fish; I checked out the pretty shoes. Brian was excited. Braiden cried. No pictures of the pretty fish. I didn't make it back in time to catch him in a good mood. I think he was nervous about the large turtles swimming up next to the glass.

Here he is as we entered the store. We had his camo blanket that his Mammaw made for him because it was so freaking cold outside that day! The high was in the 50's!!!

Brian & Braiden checking out one of the beautiful waterfalls. Braiden loves water!

Here are the 3 of us paying absolutely no attention that we're having our picture taken. Jeremy (my brother) snapped the pic...he didn't count to 3 or anything! Sheesh!

Here's a picture of some random guy holding up a big fish. Brian seems to think this is of some great importance. So we have a picture of it. Bass Pro Shop = Big Fish. Whod'a guessed that?!

Silver Dollar City is next. I'll be back...
